The Himalayas are a mountain range in between China and India. They fully enclose the nations of Bhutan and Nepal. The Himalayas are the tallest range in the world, and one of the youngest. They were formed by the collision of the Indian subcontinent with the rest of Asia. The tallest mountain in the Himalayas, and in the world, is Mount Everest, at over 29,000 feet. The Himalayas have historically kept China and India relatively isolated from the rest of the world.
