There are about 50 million Italians in Italy, along with significant expatriate populations in the United States, Brazil and Argentina, totaling about 40 - 50 million additional people. Prominent Italians include Leonardo da Vinci, Antonio Vivaldi, Michelangelo, Guglielmo Marconi, Enzo Ferrari and Gianluigi Buffon.
